Courses

Early Identification and Response in Student Mental Health

90 minutes All school staff $750

Recognising when a student is struggling and knowing what to do next. How anxiety and depression present differently at 7, 11 and 16. Saying the limits of confidentiality before a student discloses. Duty to report, and the five things staff most often get wrong about it.

School Absence and Avoidance: Assessment and Return Planning

90 minutes Teachers, admin, guidance, leadership $800

Identifying why a student has stopped coming before making a plan to bring them back. What to rule out first, the accommodations at school and at home that keep a student away, and how to build a staged return where a staged return is the right tool.

Who delivers your training Every course is delivered by a trained clinician or mental health professional.

Built around the school schedule

Courses are designed to fit within after-school staff meetings or PA days, so you can book training without arranging cover or losing instructional time.

Every participant leaves with a certificate of completion they can verify online.

How it works

  1. Get in touch. Tell us your school, roughly how many staff, and which course you're interested in.
  2. We confirm the details. Course, date, format, group size.
  3. Proposal. A written outline with a fixed price.
  4. Delivery. On site or virtual, with materials and a certificate of completion for every participant.

Common questions

How long are the courses?
Ninety minutes or half a day, depending on the course. Both fit an after-school staff meeting or a PA day.
How many staff can attend?
Up to 40 for the ninety-minute courses and up to 30 for the half-day, so most schools can train all staff in one session.
Can it be delivered virtually?
Yes, at a lower rate. On site works better for the half-day course because of the practice work.
What do participants get?
A workbook they use during the session, a one-page reference card, and a certificate of completion they can verify online.
Is this clinical training?
No. These are training courses for school staff, not clinical qualifications. They teach you to notice earlier, respond better, and hand over to the right person.
