Ballast Wellbeing For Workplaces
Your managers are your psychological health and safety programme.
Policies don't prevent harm. The person having the conversation does. Ballast trains the people who determine whether your duty of care is actually met.

What Ontario employers are carrying
The Occupational Health and Safety Act requires workplace violence and harassment policies and programmes. CSA Z1003 — the National Standard on Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace — sets the benchmark against which employer conduct is measured. And since 2018, chronic mental stress has been compensable under WSIB.
Written policy satisfies none of this on its own. Documented training of the people who apply it is what demonstrates reasonable care.
